"The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. We will return again and I recommend it to everyone looking for an ideal place to relax!"

"Beautiful property! There was plenty of parking available to us. No contact check in was a breeze. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Because we were planning on having wine with dinner, we took an Uber for a very short ride into town for a delicious traditional Portuguese meal. The hotel provided us with great breakfast buffet with a variety of hot & cold items. "

"Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!"

"Sadly, could only stay 1 night this time but the stay was absolutely LOVELY! better than anticipated. the location is so beautiful. tons of greenery, flowers, animals - heaven! on the road leading up to the hotel, you can see the water as well. peaceful, calm, perfect. the staff/service was also wonderful. the breakfast was beyond - fresh, delicious. "We went through the online check in process and got annoyed once as it didn't save my progress when the kid grabbed my phone and minimized the app. It did make access smooth but wasn't necessary as there was staff at the front desk when we arrived (we weren't sure we would be in time for that). Really convenient grocery store around the corner and plenty of free parking but off season the restaurants were all closed most of the time (not really our thing to eat out but thought I'd mention it because we saw people wandering looking for food). We walked to the fort after driving to the lighthouse the day before and seeing how it was on the way. Awesome nature preserve accessed by going through the fort with a wonderful walk and views."
