The pool was extremely warm during my stay, keep in mind I was there day after hurricane Simon. My Spanish is minimal, but communication with staff was good! "We stayed during hurricane Simon. The staff was excellent and did what they could to make our stay comfortable considering the circumstance of the storm. The restaurant staff was exceptional. We had no problem speaking English. The rooms are clean and very large. The overall decor of the hotel and gardens are beautifully done and the pool is beautiful. It's like a grand hotel that needs a little bit of polishing but we enjoyed our stay and would go back."

"They were very friendly. Very helpful. The location was excellent . Just a great feel all about it. There was one problem. The wifi would not work in the actual room. It might have been because it was too far from the office. I would definitely return as long as I get wifi in the room."

"Our booking was 'confirmed by Expedia' but when we arrived, the advertised 'front desk' was not there, there were no staff and the guests around the pool said that the whole place was rented out with long term visitors. We couldn't reach Expedia without a cell phone and were left to go find something late on a Sunday night of a long weekend when the town was full. Very dissapointing!! "
