"Although I prefer to stay in the main building, because the rooms remind me of my grandmother's house, I spent a week in a beautiful, spacious suite in the new addition. It is a light-filled space that is built around a flower-filled courtyard. Upstairs rooms have balconies and lower floor rooms have gated patios. Thisvisca gated venue, with access provided by your room key. Hotel La Rose is ideally located in Railroad Square in Santa Rosa. It is a short walk to the Smart Train platform. The ride is free for people over age 65! It is easy to head go as far north as Windsor or as far south as Larkspur, where ferry connections can be made to San Francisco. Railroad Square offers a choice of several good restaurants and a charming ice cream parlor with specialty ice cream flavors. There are some intriguing antique stores, a game store, a terrific yarn shop which holds a variety of classes, and a Junior League thrift store whose profits serve needy children in the area! One of my favorite events is the Tuesday night lighted bike parade which rolls through Railroad Square and can be a fun finish for Taco Tuesday at Chevy"s!"
"This is a 5-Star hotel across the board. From the moment we pulled in to the Valet, everyone was welcoming and helpful. We had a short tour of the property with the Reception Host upon check-in, showing off the highlights of the property. Tranquil, Relaxing, Peaceful, worth a return visit soon, are all words/phrases that come to mind. We hope to be back again sooner, than later."
"1. Staffs are fantastic!
2. Breakfast is great too!
3. Difficult to find the check in desk for Vintage Hotel ( The Estate Yuntville has 2 check in desks but the address is to the Yuntville station. When we asked 5 people they all told us to the new building. We have been lost for 15 mins).
4. The property is nice and clean but too noisy wth loud music. It is not possible to take a nap before 11pm."
