I was not keen on Cherbourg in the past, but now it's clean and with great walking paths, liking the pedestrenisation, it's so nice, always lovely flowers and a very nice place for a stay over! "I would definitely stay here again, it was such a great location to catch the ferry from Cherbourg and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked in quite late, around 7pm, parking and taking my dog were no problem, it was all so easy and in an incredibly impressive historical building. There is a restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t try and also quite a few other places to eat within the town. It felt very safe and quiet. "

"Great location for centre of town and bars and restaurants, free parking across the road by the Napoleon statue, good warm welcome, perfect for an overnight night stay. Didn’t try breakfast went to a local cafe with a view of the harbour instead "

"This is a quaint B&B in the heart of St Mere Eglise, 1 short block from anywhere in town. Room was very spacious. Beautiful courtyard in the back that is great for your homemade happy hour. Or if you prefer, the best restaurant in town is 30 feet from the courtyard. "
