"Honestly it was a good hotel for the price! The staff was amazing, especially considering that our stay was so last minute. We came in looking for a safe place during Isaias, and even though the lobby was closed originally, when we called ahead to see if they had any way to allow us to go ahead and book for the night, the gentleman was kind enough to leave what I can only assume was his own room to unlock the lobby and was willing to even help us book then. We didn’t get to try the breakfast but that was mostly because we were exhausted and slept through it. We did find out they have hot breakfast on the weekends!
The carpet was a little gross feeling on my feet but I have sensory issues, so I just wore socks the whole time. Had a clean mini fridge and a clean microwave, and the bed was firm but fairly comfortable, and most importantly, CLEAN.
From what I can tell it is an extended stay capable location, but everyone was quiet and respectful! overall a great spot.
OH, also, even with the storm happening and parts of Dothan losing power, we only experienced a few flickers. Internet and power and water stayed allllll the way through the storm and after!"
