"The staff were excellent - one small thing is that you have to request cleaning, which I didn't realize. I was really just looking for fresh towels. I was able to easily do so, but the cleaning staff came very early in the morning (waking us up), and when asked to come back later, they sadly never returned. That being said, the front counter staff were happy to provide fresh towels and anything else we needed. It's a smaller hotel and a lot of places are moving away from traditional models, so you have to grab ice from the main lobby, and there isn't any free breakfast included. Neither of these are big deals. The cafe downstairs has incredible food and a really cool bar. The coffee we ordered was made fresh in front of us and was delicious. Cost was equivalent to Starbucks (in American $). For my Canadian friends, the cost conversion to Canadian $ hurts - but this is not the hotel's fault! I'd come back in a heartbeat. Loved the vibe of the hotel and how easy everything was. The staff and even other guests were friendly, and the space felt inclusive to all. The whole design of the hotel feels very art deco - it's honestly gorgeous. You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into it. Big shoutout to Amari - she was lovely! Gave some incredible local food recommendations and was super plesant to chat with. Made my day!"
