"Room has been upgraded with a new mattress, and wallpaper that looked like it had been installed by an amateur! A complete mess!
Toilet seat was hanging off the bowl, you couldn’t sit on it without it hurling you sideways!
Soap? Well that was dispensed in 2 tiny packets
Shower - held 7’ in the air just the head no slider.. 18” above the shower screen?
Bathroom was freezing due to a duct in the ceiling that let cold air in - and removed any warm air that we circulated in there via a sliding door - again a new fitting but really badly thought out with no radiator or towel rails.
Wardrobe in the bedroom has seen many better days - and it wasn’t even fixed to the wall as the melamine coating had cracked off the chipboard interior.
Check in was laughable!
Faulty towers had nothing on this place! Reception fully shut up we rang the buzzer repeatedly, eventually a car pulled up behind us. A guy got out, opened the door, gave us keys and then left!
Other than the updated areas like our room and the dining area, all of which had been decorated by someone without a clue about decorating! The place itself is in a sad state of neglect! Shame, as it is an old place and could be given some tlc instead of being botched over by inadequate builders!
The breakfast, well it was the biggest letdown ever - after seeing the state of the kitchen, I refused to eat the half a dry baguette and croissant that came on a plate and decided going hungry for a few hours was a better option..

"N'ayant pas pris de petit-déjeuner, je ne peux me prononcer la dessus.
Par contre mon PC (un vieux coucou) n'arrivait pas à trouver le réseau wifi de l’hôtel, j'ai donc utilisé mon portable comme routeur.
Concernant le confort de la chambre, tout a été correct, j'ai tout particulièrement apprécié le moelleux de la literie. "
"Location was perfect
Breakfast good
Very comfortable beds
Room allocated away from the hotel building and was very dated so we were a bit disappointed "
"Beautiful setting and Edouard and Alexandra were amazing hosts! They’ve recently refurbished their place to a very high standard and my wife even enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool. Situated right next to a gorgeous chateau, we couldn’t have asked for more for our first night of holiday. If we are travelling this way in the future we shall be sure to stay again."
