"The mini fridge in our room wasn’t plugged in. We had items that needed to be refrigerated. Milk at the coffee station was spoiled and the hot water for tea was room temperature. The premium queen room was very small. Tight squeeze but very clean & modern. The bed was unbelievably comfortable."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Insignia. The room was clean and didn't feel stuffy like some rooms do when you walk in. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful, just like we like it! We also enjoyed using their pool and hot tub. We checked in easily, the staff was helpful and friendly. It was nice having free parking on the premises. The location was ideal, as we were able to walk a few blocks for restaurants and the river walk was right down the street. We didn't use the on-site bar or restaurant, as we were only there one night and wanted to experience the downtown area more. We would stay here again. Very nice."

"The rooms and hallways were very clean. The rooms were very cosy maybe a little small, only room for one bedside table. The only real disappointment would be the mattress. If you like a very firm one your good buty husband and I woke up very sore. Breakfast was pretty minimal only a few slices of a rye bread, no margarine or butter. The carpets smelled musty but the building is old, charming and you don't smell anything after a few minutes."

"The Village Suites have been recently been taken over and run by a family. From the moment I walked in they welcomed me and went above and beyond to help me settle in. There is a restaurant adjoined to the hotel. I ordered a Thai salad and arancini balls. Both were unbelievably divine! A new Chef is on board and he is excellent! I have not enjoyed a meal as much in a very long time! I am giving both the hotel and the restaurant two thumbs up!"
