"We arrived shortly after the check-in time of 1pm and were immediately made welcome. Room was accessed by a spiral staircase and a corridor. Not so handy if you have mobility issues. The room itself was spotless and the bed comfortable. Good shower but be aware the floor can get wet in front. We chose to eat in the restaurant and happily recommend you do likewise. The staff were exemplary throughout the stay."

"The new owners have a lot of work to do and have plans going forward. Rome wasn’t built in a day but they are doing their best. My room was comfortable and I had a couple of issues which were rectified as soon as they were made known to the staff. The food was good and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. "The ladies on reception were so lovely. Friendly and very helpful advising on gpod eating places and places to visit. The bedroom was clean with very comfortable bed. Sadly the hotel is in need of tlc it showed the signs of great potential and could offer a wonderful eating and drinking venue if developed. The price was very reasonable given the standard of the amenities and a place to certainly use if only needing a base"
