"We stayed for 2 evenings to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived to a hand written card and a box of chocolates which was an amazing surprise going the extra mile.
Room was immaculate cleanliness wise, extremely comfortable bed with the best pillows. Great view of the bay and a TV offered every streaming service (requiring your login obviously), but was great to see an updated entertainment option in the room. Would have been nice for room service to be available a bit later in the evening; even if it was a limited menu with easier items. The resort is close enough to town to get food later in the evening, but it would be nice to order a burger & fries at 10pm on a Friday night instead of having to drive elsewhere.
We called the front desk for a noise complaint on the Thursday evening, but nothing changed and it continued until almost 3am in the hot tub suite beside us. You could hear music bumping thru the wall and unfortunately made our first night’s stay less than ideal.
Breakfast was exceptional and dinner at the Arbutus Room was quite enjoyable as well. Lunch at the pub was as expected, no complaints, but the weakest of the 3 meal times of the day. Food was served hot and it was busy so that was a plus.
Outdoor pool/hot tub area was spotless. Spa services were reasonably priced and service providers were very friendly. Spa rooms were cozy and quiet. We did 2hrs each of couple’s treatments and were very happy with the spa.
Would stay at the resort again.
