"A very nice hotel. Ian, the proprietor, welcomed me with tea and a scone. The room was comfortable and the breakfast could not have boin better. Plenty of choice. Entry is up some stone steps, but I was ableto drive up to the top to unload. The view fro. My window was iconic. Overlooking Rothbury, a quintessential English village. Reasonable rates. Whats not to love. Try it, you wont be disappointed. "

"The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."
