"The former Robert E. Lee in Staunton looks to have scaled back a bit--the old bar near the entrance was deserted when I was there--but it's still probably your best bet in Staunton: smack dab in the middle of its charming downtown, and right next door to the Blackfriar Theatre. Staff is helpful, and the rooms are just fine."

"While our stay was pleasant overall, the bathroom in our room requires some attention. The door is quite difficult to shut and requires a firm push to close completely. Additionally, there are also noticeable gaps in the bathtub tiling that need repair, which doesn't quite match the quality you would expect from a 3-star property."
