"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

"Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cosy and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming feel. The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t many mirrors, which would have been handy-but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Would definitely stay again! "

"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. Fantastic Hotel

"We were impressed straight away with how picturesque the hotel and area was, plus everywhere seemed so peaceful. This was then further enhanced thanks to the fabulous staff. The staff made us feel very welcome and they were really enthusiastic about making our experience a positive one. Ted, in the Moet and Chandon Bar, along with his Manageress, were stand out staff for us. Ted loved to make us cocktails and we certainly enjoyed drinking them! The room was comfortable and very clean, the spa facilities were ideal and the restaurant food was excellent. Definitely a hotel that we would like to return to. "

"The staff at this hotel are helpful and polite. I had a minor issue with my room, I reported this to reception and they had somebody at my room in five minutes to resolve the issue. Food was good and I especially enjoyed the breakfast with a wide selection of fruits, preserves and an excellent cooked breakfast choice. I would definitely visit this hotel again, for me, the mark of excellent customer service is when something goes wrong and how the staff deal with that. Highly recommend "

"Perfect location for the my stay. Rooms were nice and the staff were very kind and helpful. The following morning breakfast was superb, coupled with a visit to the swimming pool and spa certainly set me up for a perfect day. I shall certainly be returning again if I am in the area. "
