Great for exploring the area

A great two day stay in Kent, mainly to go for a tour on the Balfour Winery. A nice and cosy inn in the English country side, just as it says on the tin. We will be back for more exploring in the future I am sure.

A few black spots on bed linen and lots of condensation on the windows. Surrounding area has no shops or shopping facilities nearby. Staff were friendly and attentive but service was a little slow. Wrong TV remote initially in room but staff resolved quickly. Main road directly outside bedroom window which was noisy and not good for light sleepers.

Excellent staff especially the manager who kindly gave us a lift to the vineyard. Evening meal at the inn was superb, great mini break.

Village gem

Superb find, comfortable and well equipped room, good food and we were looked after very well by the staff with a special shout out to Leah and Erin who's attentive service and friendly 'can do' attitude was a breath of fresh air.
