You can take a lovely back road walk past a beaver pond that starts from the parking lot. Employees were friendly and helpful. Multiple other protected area hikes in the neighborhood. We felt we lucked out picking this place."

"Our stay at the Whitlock was fabulous. We were able to park at the inn and then walk everywhere around the town. So convenient! The inn was very fun. Definitely an old inn, so we did not expect it to be like a modern hotel. It was classic western Massachusetts country style. We stayed in the fall foliage season, but the Whitlock would have been awesome in the summer season too. Thanks"
