"Bathrooms/shower area were exceptionally clean for the resort! Location was amazing right outside of Great Sand Dunes National Park! Sunsets and night skies were out of this world! A few things that made us give 4 stars instead of 5 was staff. Two signs leading into the park clearly say pizza available until 7. We pulled in at 6:35, starving from hiking the dunes, and the front desk staff told us she had already turned off the ovens for the night so she wasnโ€™t going to cook anymore pizza. Either signs need to change or staff needs to be willing to do what the lodge has advertised. The other thing is that there is NO POOL as listed on Expedia. Please fix this on the property amenities. Apparently there hasnโ€™t been a pool for 6 years. If you are staying in the domes, you donโ€™t have a clear view of the sunset. All of the campers/RVs sit right in a row in front of the domes. You canโ€™t see this in the pictures. Overall, great location, clean space, but poor staff."

"The property was well kept. The room was clean and the location was good for our travel needs. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and the instructions provided us gave me the necessary information. I would say getting in after dark made it a little difficult to determine where best to park and coming in you need to pay attention to the notice board where you enter to find your room location since only location of room # is on the door. A building # or letter would have been helpful."

"This was a last minute booking but everything went smoothly. We booked one of the tents and had to open it to clear out the canvas smell from being shut up all day but the smell cleared out fast. The only thing I would have requested was to be closer to the shared bathrooms. We were as far away as you could get. Bathroom were clean. Hosts were wonderful. S'mores by the campfire in the evening - what's not to like!"
