A Southampton Corporation Tramways tram preserved at Crich in Derbyshire. Both my grandad and great grandad were tram drivers in Southampton so probably were at the controls of this fine vehicle many many years ago. #History
Looking South along the Cromford Canal, about 1km South of Whatstandwell. The picture clearly shows the four forms of transport along this section of the valley, from left to right: the canal and its towpath, railway line, road (the A6) and the river Derwent.
