"Property was nice, staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, bed wasn't all that comfy though, had a pretty rough night. Air-conditioning worked well, bathroom was clean. Parking was good and was able to leave vehicle while on cruise, which was helpful. Private driver for ride to port was safe and secure, $15 per person was reasonable for safety nowadays. Breakfast was good, could of been a bit better. Pancake machine was down, worker forgot a few required items at home and said that what they had will just have to do for the day. Ok, no problem. Juices were ok, and everything in all, I'd give a total ( 7.4 rating )"

"The location was perfect for a pre-board night before heading to Galveston. Shops and restaurants very near. The room was clean, beds not so comfortable but stayed only one night. The breakfast was adequate. We forgot a cap in our room and it was in lost and found for us one week later when we came back through."

"My stay was cool. I stayed a total of 3 nights. They came and cleaned one day. It would’ve been a 5 star if i didn’t find hair all in my bed. i just bought more blankets and slept on that. The staff was never really at the desk but i didn’t really need anything other from checking in and checking out."

"The property itself was great overall, other than a couple of minor repair needs in our unit. However, we had some issues with check in and the staff. When we checked in, we were tricked into signing up for a sales presentation. When I tried to get out of it, I discovered we would be penalized a $50 fee if we didn't endure it since we had technically agreed to it, even though it wasn't adequately explained at check in. When I protested that we had two small children, I was told the presentation would be no more than 90 minutes and kid-friendly. However, it was at least 2 hours, and that was with me asking the salesman to wrap it up because our two small children were restless and we had other plans, and not nearly as kid-friendly as I was led to believe. This drained our morning and took away from our vacation and family time. Rather frustrating."
