"Somewhat aged motor inn that could use upgrades, but otherwise clean. Friendly owner/staff. Breakfast was a good selection of cold items. Hotel faces highway so there is traffic noise and room heater can be noisy. Room could use more/better lighting. Price is a bit high all things considered but otherwise good."

"The property is very close to Watkins Glen. For a short stay just to sleep, it did its purpose. The room has a microwave and fridge. The parking is very convenient outside the room. They do offer continental breakfast (muffins, bananas, apples, tea and coffee). The bed was comfortable. Overall, good stay."

"Overall a nice hotel for the price. Sound isolation is not as good as it could be, with people walking in the room above being quite audible. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was limited, but adequate. The availability of only a single EV charger, occupied by one rude undoubtedly fully-charged guest over the entirety of the weekend, was a bit of a disappointment."

"Perfect location - couldn't have been closer to the water. Weather cooperated and we had a great stay. Only about 25 minutes to Watkins Glen and surrounded by lots of breweries and wineries so there is plenty to do...and drink! Come visit and enjoy!"

"Room was very nice. Not a good experience at restaurant, very understaffed. Mistakes and poor service. Some, one was a manager, could of been more friendly. Overall. Very good to excellent. Clean. Great grounds."
Plum Point Lodge

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Plum Point Lodge. The location was great with many wineries just a short drive away. The area is easy to navigate and I think this spot was the perfect jumping off point for what we wanted to do while we were there. I especially enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning and in the evening or by the fire pit. We had dinner at Sapalta on Thursday evening, the food was delicious and caught the last live music of the season on the deck. Two details that kept the stay from being close to perfect...the room was very damp. So much so that a hand towel used at night wasn't even close to being dry in the morning. I'm not sure if it was a change in the weather, or because we were in the end room, but it was weird. The room also could have benefited from at least one large area rug. The floors were very nice, but a rug would have made it a bit cozier. We would definitely stay again if in the area, the vibe was really relaxed and sort of a throwback."
