"Set on a working farm in beautiful countryside with far reaching views. The property was lovely & clean & contained everything needed for a relaxing stay. A very comfortable bed, a lovely shower with plenty of hot water & the property was lovely & warm. There was plenty if onsite parking. Whilst we didn’t need to contact the hosts we knew they were close should we have need them. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. County Hotel

"Shabby but adequate for a couple of nights. Parking was ok for us but it could be a problem if there are a lot of guests. It’s first come, first served for about 25-30 spaces; there are other car parks in the vicinity. We didn’t eat there; it’s very close to the city centre and there is plenty of choice in the area. Room was ok but beds could have been made better as the mattress was visible at the bedhead but it was comfortable and a fan had been provided as it was pretty warm! Certainly worth the money we paid (as cheap as some youth hostels). Floors creak which disturbed us occasionally"

"The staff was very helpful to us - holding our luggage before check-in time so we could explore the area. We had dinner in the restaurant and came back later in the evening for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. The room was not huge but it was clean and the bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the little fan was great (it was quite a warm night). "
