4/10 Poor

"I stayed in 5 different hotels during my trip to Vietnam, and this was the most disappointing. The front desk staff were not friendly nor accommodating/hospitable. The hotel is newer, but poorly built, as is the modern way, I guess. I could hear my neighbors, the cleaning staff in other rooms, and screaming kids from the pool. Everything (schedules, menus, room service) is online via a QR code, but half the time the internet didnt work. Lastly, this was the most expensive hotel I stayed at and the value/service for the money just wasn't there. I would not recommend staying here. "

"Amazing 5 night stay in an Ocean Pool Villa. Pure bliss. On time transfer to and from the airport, swift check in and out by Dran. Room was heavenly with a gorgeous view of the sea. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. We only ate at the Vietnamese restaurant and every meal was delicious. Jason in particular looked after us very well, although every member of staff was attentive! Breakfast in Gio was a sumptuous affair every morning. We visited the gym and walked from end to end of the resort daily... We hired a moped for the day to explore the north west coast and this was very easily arranged by the hotel with a 3rd party provider. Great to see other parts of the island. Very sad to leave and would throughly recommend for much needed downtime after a hectic time visiting the sights of Vietnam before returning to the UK. "

"By the look of the exterior and lobby of the hotel, it is a five star worthy resort. The room itself is not as luxurious. The room furnitures show signs of wear & tear. The bed is one of hardest bed, and it hurts my back. The shower drain is also cloggng, and it drains slowly. There are no hair conditioner nor body lotion. The pool is nice, not too busy and not much chemicals in the water. We have free breakfast and bottle water. The only dinning room is huge, with two service buffet areas. The food is above average. Vinholiday provided us free unlimited Vinbus. Free shuttle from airport to hotel and back. Free bus to night market and shopping. We enjoyed the bus rides. We even used it to Sunset town (half way). We also enjoyed the discounted tickets to VinSafari and VinWonder. The free shuttle runs every half hour. We had to fight our way on the last bus after VinWonder water show. Human sardines on the last bus back to the hotel. We also like the beach and the Grand World area. We enjoyed the hotel and breakfast. "

"An absolutely awful tired dirty hotel with children as staff, other staff untrained, Xmas decorations still up, the breakfast was disgusting, the restaurant dirty with used plates and glasses left everywhere, the beach has rubbish on and you can’t swim in the sea, there is no gym and the marketing of this property is completely false. They lie about everything and it is truly not like they advertise. The rooms are old and tired but ok and the pool is fine. And all for £110 a night…a complete ripoff. Be very cautious…"
