"First, the few issues. Breakfast is only OJ, a few bagels, cream cheese, butter, dried cereal, bananas, and coffee. No yogurt, pastries, eggs, or much fruit. Such an easy thing to fix. The multiple threats around the pantry to not steal or video will be turned over to the police for prosecution is offensive to paying guests. There has to be a better way. The place is a bit dated and needs a refresh. The TV remotes were difficult to work from a distance. Ten of the parking spots are reserved as EV charging stations. They were all empty, but signs warned that non EV vehicles parked there would be towed AOE. Since they are available for non-guests, paying guests seem not to be the top priority. There are many positives, and they out balance the annoying but minor issues. The people are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and properly supplied. They are spacious and comfortable for sleeping. The location is good for exploring and shopping. I would certainly stay here again because all the essentials are done well."

"I just spent one night on the way home from an extended trip, and it was perfect. Super clean with extremely comfortable beds (including pillows, and I'm very picky)! Short walk to the center of town, and the family running the lodge is very sweet. Highly recommend!"

What are holiday rentals like in Cuba?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Cuba. Holiday rentals feature extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll have everything you need. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can offer a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive option for a family trip.
