"This retreat is an absolute paradise and oasis that makes the stresses of day to day life melt away! It felt both meditative and romantic. It is easily my favorite hotel I have ever stayed. I wish we had stayed longer. Every part of it was clean and in great condition. The staff were warm and welcoming. You can tell that every detail has been designed with much thought and care. The setting is gorgeous. You are surrounded by mountains, fresh air, waterfalls, and the sounds of birds and frogs. The pool is picturesque and peaceful with the backdrop of mountains in the background. The room was the perfect balance of simple yet luxurious. The shower and porch were amazing. The food also went above and beyond our expectations. The dinner was fresh with good-sized portions and beautiful presentation. It was our favorite meal of our whole trip. We especially loved the mofongo and the steak special. The breakfast was also divine! It included fresh/homemade yogurt, granola, fruit, croissants, jam, nut butter, and juice. I would recommend the waterfall hike and ceiba trail hike. Definitely follow the hotel’s driving instructions. We did not and the drive up was not for the faint of heart - it was basically all unpaved roads, hairpin turns, and potholes. We used the hotel’s instructions on the way back down the mountain and it was a breeze! I hope to return and take advantage of the yoga and spa services next time!"

"Yes it was cool in room and easy parking. This is a very nice motel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bring your own toiletries and hand rowels. Walls are super thin and there is a basic bedroom door lock on room doors. Facility was safe and there is a security lock on exterior main door. "
