"Located in a quiet area of Carvoeiro the property and grounds, pool etc are kept in good condition. Apartment was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine etc and AC. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A hire car is useful but Carvoeiro is walkable, but the the return walk is uphill and very steep in places. Cars can be hired through the hotel and the rate we got was better than going direct to the bigger companies. We would definitely return here if we go back to this area....

"The unit we stayed in was bright and airy, large patio doors, large windows, really distinct from conventional Portuguese builds. Loved the unit the setting was in a secure setting. The unit itself could do with more storage units for personal ware and more hooks to hang clothes, otherwise the kitchenette was well equipped, with even 2 ovens. All in all no complaints. Staff were very helpful, free bikes was a bonus."

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. We reserved with half board, so we had dinner, wich was very convenient because you don't have anything in a short distance. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! The hotel is beautiful and rooms are spacious and well equipped with kitchenette. Con: our room (021) was at the far part of the property, so when was pleasent was a nice walkable 15 minutes distance around the Marina; when it was not, they have golf carts to take you to your room."

"Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. "

"This property is well worth a visit , very quiet and well looked after . A few bars and restaurants within a 5 - 10 mins walk. We did not have a car but easily used Uber into Albufeira and only paid approx 5 euros. Would definately stay here again especially early and late in season as its lovely and peaceful ."

"Easy check in and check out. Pleasant and accommodating staff. The property and room were clean and comfortable. Several food options at the hotel as there aren’t many restaurants around the area unless you walk to the strip. Aldi’s grocery store close. Uber and taxis made it easy to get around but we walked around town and the beach for the most part. All in all a great stay for the price. "

"I have just returned from an 8 night stay in the Victoria Sports & Beach Hotel with my wife and baby daughter. We were all made feel very welcome in the hotel. All the staff were friendly and were particularly attentive to our baby. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly at breakfast and dinner. The availability of the running track, gym and nearby trails meant that I could get in some nice running on our family holiday. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. A baby cot was set up...

The beach was a couple of minutes walk (lovely sandy beach) plenty of pools, bars and places to get food. "We liked area around- pools area, playground for kids, however in April water seems to be still very cold for swiming, so maybe to think on heated pool (at least for kids) installation. Minuses-if you want to use kitchen or washing machine you need to buy all detergents or oil for cooking, salt, pepper yourself, which is not very convinient and reasonable in case of foreign travellers staying for just couple of nights."
