"Great resort experience. I felt like I was a Don in the Zorro Movie. Rooms were clean and staff was attentive. Food was excellent. Horseback riding was awesome. We took a 2 hour ride through the Costa Rica rain forest and I loved it."

"These are pretty rustic cabins, but they are clean and comfortable. Also, the WiFi is fast. Expedia double booked the family cabin so when we arrived, the only cabin left was a studio with 2 full beds - and we are 5 people. The host called his daughter and she brought over a cot to put in the living area. We were so grateful not to have to find another place! I can't say enough nice things about this host. He lives next door and is totally willing to help out in any way. He has 3 milk cows and 2 calves and he makes his own cheese - it is SO GOOD. We only stayed 1 night, but in a bigger space we would love to have stayed longer. "

"La Quinta is a very welcoming place. The staff is fantastic: very responsive and capable in every respect. I have to make special mention of Diego, who greeted me warmly when I arrived and helped me finalize arrangements to visit two local nature preserves. Diego is enthusiastic and exceptionally competent. I also want to tip my hat to Leonardo, the chef. He make a lamb dish one night that was out of this world. Finally, I recommend that visitors take advantage of the trails around the lodge in the early morning and at night. The ponds at the back of the property are teaming with frogs and toads. Bring a flashlight!!!"

"We had a warm welcome from the moment we arrived , with clear instructions prior to arrival as well. The breakfast as mentioned in previous reviews was the best that we have had in Costa Rica and likewise we were treated to a wonderful home cooked three course meal at a very reasonable price. We loved the peaceful surroundings with nature on the doorstep including trails into the forest. We loved our stay and just wish we had planned to stay longer."

"Die Finca Azul bietet einen großartigen Ausblick. Das gesamte Gelände umfasst mehrere Hektar und bietet dabei friedliche Abgeschiedenheit. Das Bungalow samt Bad waren einwandfrei sauber. In der Nacht kann man das Rauschen des Flusses hören. Zu beachten ist, dass für die Anreise wärmstens ein Auto mit Allradantrieb und hohem Radstand empfohlen wird. Die Familie um Jeny und Warren nimmt die Gäste herzlich auf und bezieht sie, sofern gewollt, auch in kleinere Aktivitäten des Alltags ein. Bemerkenswert sind die herausragenden Kochkünste von Warren. Dabei unterstützen seine Kinder tatkräftig beim servieren der Speisen. Es gibt auch sehr freundliche Hunde auf dem Hof. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, guten Schlaf, leckeres Essen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Dann allerdings mit einem Geländewagen. Herzlichen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft!
