Bel appartement dans un beau quartier tranquille.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et nous avons été enchantés par la belle petite cour arrière. Aussi, notre petit appartement coloré avait tout le nécessaire pour l’autonomie. On offrait aussi le service de buanderie pour quelques soles. Nous étions à flanc de montagne, donc en plus de l’altitude, il a fallu une adaptation car nous étions un peu à bout de souffle. De toute manière, toute la ville est à flanc de montagne. Il y a plusieurs petit dépanneurs, restaurants et boutiques dans le coin et nous n’étions pas loin de la Place d’Armes. De plus, étant dans le quartier San Blas, nous étions près d’un mirador offrant une vue spectaculaire sur la ville. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit.

Sweet stay on the hillside

There are a lot of steps to get to this hotel and the altitude makes each step hard! The apartments are all artistically decorated and the service is great.

Great hotel in Cusco

Such a lovely hotel, the staff were very attentive and organised some great tours for us. Location was excellent, despite all the steps up to it!

good hotel, location questionable

the room was nice with a living / dining room downstairs and bedroom upstairs. It was well furnished and the bathroom was well appointed with a sauna as well. There was a breakfast that was brought to the room, it was adequate in quantity and quality. The room did not have any view. The approach to the hotel is through an alleyway that seems to be a repository for garbage at night. The location to the main plaza is great. It takes about 12-15 minutes of walking to get to the main plaza and while the steps coming back looked daunting it was not bad at all.

Excellent hotel

We very much enjoyed our stay, the location is in the old town and close to many shops and restaurants, service was excellent as was the included breakfast. It is a small boutique hotel, 5 units, with very helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Cusco while exploring the sacred valley if the Incas

We loved the location but the stairs were a challenge & it needs better lighting, especially in bb the bathroom. The staff could not have been more accommodating

Hotel único y especial

Este hotel es extraordinario: nos quedamos en un departamentito muy bien decorado y con una vista hermosa de Cusco. La decoración es muy original e incluso está pensada como una propuesta del Perú contemporáneo. Nos guardaron nuestra maleta varios días y había alguien que nos abrió la puerta a pesar de que llegamos casi a la media noche. El desayuno lo sirven en la habitación y es delicioso- la ensalada de fruta es divina. Si volvemos a Cusco, buscaremos quedarnos otra vez en Quinua Village. Gracias a Vanessa y a todos los que nos atendieron.

A real surprise at an excellent price

This is one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was very large, had a fire place AND there was a sauna in my bathroom. Compared to other hotels in the area around this price this hotel offered so much more, it was totally amazing and lovely, helpful staff all with excellent english.

Memorable stay in a historic homey apartment

From the beginning, our stay at Quinua Villa was amazing. We were picked up by the hotel cab service which was waiting with a sign and a very nice small SUV with a fantastic driver who was fluent in English. He ended up being a great guide on a few other day trips that we organized through the hotel. He was extremely knowledgeable and was dedicated to making our experience enjoyable. When we arrived at the hotel the staff carried our bags up the steps which was greatly appreciated as we quickly learned about the lack of oxygen at 11,000ft! We were guided directly to our room where one of the staff members had tea waiting for us and explained everything that was available to us INCLUDING the complimentary breakfast service. My fiancé and I both travel a lot for work and were blown away by the breakfast offering. The night before, you fill out a menu and the time you'd like breakfast served and the staff brings it into your apartment and sets it up on the kitchen table. Eggs, sausage, juice, coffee served in a French press, and many more options. The hotel also offers a very affordable laundry service and in-room massage. Our apartment felt like home for the 4 nights we were there and was conveniently located to Plaza de Aramas but far enough away that it was quiet at night and served as a retreat. The apartment definitely doesn't hide the fact that you're in a historical building but the creaks of the wood floor and beautiful furnishings made our stay very memorable.

Nice apartment however incompetent staff

The apartment was clean and a decent size, breakfast was great. The location is a 15 minute up hill walk from Plaza de Armas. Our stay was pleasant however you should consider staying elsewhere if you can't speak much Spanish. The staff have very limited English and they made many errors due to miscommunication. On several occasions with two separate staff members we tried to make arrangements for tours, food delivery, taxi bookings and payments. On each and every occasion the staff failed to understand what we wanted and they made errors which needed correcting. We were always met with blank stares and misunderstanding. We would not recommend anyone stay here if you cannot speak Spanish.

Incredible apartment!

The apartment was large, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. I stayed here my first night in Cusco and decided to stay in and enjoy delivery and a glass of wine in front of the fireplace! It was a perfect first evening in town. The next morning, breakfast and coffee was delivered at the time that I had requested. I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony with an incredible view of town. If you are staying in Cusco for a few nights I can see how this place would feel like a second home! I definitely didn't want to leave.

Lovely hotel but with numerous problems

We stayed in an apartment at the Quinua for one night and it was a mixed and disappointing experience. The staff was very courteous but we had several problems with the hotel. Despite a front desk being staffed 24-hours, we were left waiting and ringing the bell for several minutes (~10) one chilly afternoon before anyone answered to let us in. The bathroom drain was completely clogged with hair and wouldn't drain, making it virtually unusable. We had to brush our teeth and wash hands in the sink downstairs. The lighting made for great ambiance, but was completely impractical. I used a headlamp in the room throughout my stay. Even when they gave us a bulb to replace the burned out one, it had little effect. We had to pay for firewood for the fireplace, even though one of the heaters wasn't working on a chilly winter night. After asking repeatedly, they also provided a space heater for us to take back to the room to help warm the sleeping quarters. Breakfast was lovely and it was brought to our room, but it is not a buffet at advertised, meaning that we are beholden to a certain time to have our meal delivered. That was fine, but we were really looking forward to a pot of coffee that never arrived. When we inquired about checkout, their policy varied from what is listed in the book, to what it listed on the door in the room, and what is published on the Expedia site. Location is amazing but can be difficult to get to and find. Print out detailed directions!

Great, picturesque room in Cusco. It was a few blocks from the main plazas but a beautiful area nonetheless. Service was superb and the hostesses all had enough understanding of English to help us tourists find what we needed. Only issue was the room got really cold at night and they didn't let us control the heat for ourselves.

A wonderful stay during our 5 days in Cusco

We had the best stay here during our 5 days in Cusco. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and a driver was at the arrival area at the airport to greet us. He was so friendly and informative on our drive in. The hotel is quite high up above the city in the San Blas district, about a 15 minute walk to the main square. We would definitely rather walk back and forth from this gem of a property than to stay in the noisy centre. Staff were amazing, promptly greeting us and giving us some coca tea to help with the altitude. A delicious breakfast was delivered as ordered each morning at the time requested by you. We stayed in two of their apartments, each very unique- both had fireplaces which we used each night- so lovely on the cold evenings. Firewood was a small surcharge. I would definitely only stay here again upon returning to the area.

Amazing view of Cusco!

Wow! Our stay was unbelievable. There was a fantastic view of the city from our apartment. The staff was attentive and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Quinua Villa Boutique. It's a bit of a walk to get there, but you can take a cab to the base of the stairs and its completely worth it for the breathtaking view!

Very comfortable hotel that takes care of you.

The front desk girl was extremely helpful and patient, showing how to operate things in our room. The services available were very convienant and I would return here again. We would have taken advantage of their tour services but we were very tired from our travels. It is a good place to relax as there was a fireplace and a nice view of Cuzco. It was only a 10 minute walk to the main square or about 15 to the ruins. One tip: Get an upper floor suite since the floors are wooden and can creak...the people below complained we made noise but honestly I don't know what we were doing that was loud.
