"Delicious hot breakfast each morning. Variety of options. Beds were comfortable. There was a kitchenette in our room with everything needed to cook with, swimming pool, etc. Beautiful property with nearby pond. Definitely would stay again."

"This is a horrible hotel. They have a drug house in the back with crack heads and drug dealers coming in and out all hours of the night. They allow vicious pit bulls to roam off their leash. The rooms are filthy and run down with black mold everywhere in the rooms. Their is a bus depot in front of the hotel where you get stange people walking around the property who are waiting for their bus to come. The housekeepers are sweet and helpful. But the front desk ladies are not nice and helpful. They also have a crappie breakfast. Its truly not a good nor safe hotel to stay at."

"I really try to be fair with my ratings, so I want to say first that the staff I dealt with was professional, and kind for the most part. I was assigned room 323, get to the room was not near elevator and the walk towards the room kind of let me know that something was off. Because when you enter the building, the smell of it was harmony. Then the hallway carpets going upto room told a different story...they were run down. Fast forward to my room, it looked clean. I chk'd the bed and no bedbug, the air was on 64 when I entered and it was freezing, but that did not cover the horrific smell and the 3 nights I was there I was unable to sleep. I told the lady about the smell and she responded "maybe turn the fan on. Nope, i endured it because of the "no refund clause." But please understand me when I tell you that room made me sick. It looks clean, but smells of old mode and mildew. They back clean daily, but the smell still there. By the way, the window did not open in there which made it worst. I layer down with my nose covered for as long as I could but please be aware. I made a mistake going here for the cheaper price. The breakfast was ok looking, but I never ate it. The eggs were circled pancake-looking and only sausage. You make your own waffles. I mean, the entry area smelled great and that where you rat breakfast, but because the rm smelled so bad I couldn't eat there. If the update carpets, get rid of smell and make contractor corrections, it could be better plc"

"The hotel was clean, well maintained, and the staff was friendly throughout our stay. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bathroom was an average size and functional. Unfortunately, the room fell short when it came to bed comfort. My bed was extremely firm, while my wife’s bed seemed well worn, with a noticeable dip in the middle that made it uncomfortable. Breakfast the next morning around 8:00 a.m. was disappointing. The hot items, particularly the eggs and quiche, appeared dried out and were not very appetizing. I ended up sticking with the oatmeal, which felt like the safest choice."

"Great place to stay when you plan on a trip to Dade City, especially if you want to be near antiques and downtown. Or visiting Giraffe Ranch. Clean, comfortable, quiet and a full breakfast."

"The pool area act, a hot tub and a snack bar. The carpet needs to be replaced throughout the common areas. The whole place is old and tired and needs a major remodel."
Saddlebrook Resort

"What started off as a wonderful trip turned for the worse. Considering the protest was a valet only resort, we depended on valet/bell hop services to transport us back and forth to the actual room. Sadly, that wasn’t a luxury service neither me and husband got the embrace because we were advised the gulf cart doesn’t operate in inclement weather conditions. The last two nights at the resort it rained off and on throughout the night, we understood the resort had no control over the weather hit we also understood the resort had a responsibility to ensure transportation was available to us due to this resort operating as a valet only vehicle service. We were forced to walk in the rain at 2:30 am in the morning from our room the valet area of the reservation/check in area. My cloth luggage was ruined, my laptop destroyed, my clothes soaked? My hair soaked, and same for my husband out belonging that were in our cloth luggage was completely ruined along with charges and other electronics due to being forced to walk in the pouring down rain. I will never forget my experience and we believe due to the color of our skin no options were provided aside from crediting us back 100.00"
