"We had an amazing 5-nights stay at Barceló Malaga. The location is key, especially that it’s connected to a shopping centre and a major train station. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact they had shower robes. The only drawback is their elevators, they are tiny compared to the size of the hotel and it can get very warm inside. Thank you very much Barceló Team, you made our stay in Malaga very enjoyable and comfortable. "

"Great property in the heart of old Malaga. Right next to shops, restaurants, and a 20 min walk to the beach. Uber/taxi will drop you off 5 min away from thr hotel as the old Malaga is a walking only city. Would come stay again. Free breakfast was great, sometimes crowded at peak hours. We came with two kids, and they loved the bunk beds. Bikes were free to rent which was a nice touch. Highly recommended "

Some downsides though include: weak air conditioning, faulty keypad for the room and when messaging to say I was locked out it taking ~40mins to respond (in the daytime).
