"Be careful in booking this place, place is not bad by itself. But the whole day they had power issues, and before booking they did not notify that they frequently have power issues with no electricity support coming thru. The staff could not solve the issue rather delayed response despite booking the best suite they had to offer. So i would suggest booking in a different area where they don’t have frequent power problems. Again, Hotel itself is not bad; it was okay-ish, but 70% of the time there was no power and room temp was around 30 degrees celcius which is unbearable if you’re travelling from abroad."
"For the past 8 years, I've stayed here for a week. They know me when I check in. All I do is sleep here. Everyday leave in the morning. Go to meetings and return in the afternoon. Therefore, the only thing that matters to me is the bed and the air conditioning.
Since 2018, there has been one consistent problem, the A/C. Not one year has gone by where I didn't have to change rooms. Sometimes, a few days goes by without finding an A/C that works.
On Sunday afternoon, March 1st, I arrived. Mr. Saquib, the assistant manager, was standing at the desk to greet me. I specifically asked him about the A/C, reminding him of my previous experience.
He assured me that not only did the A/C work, but went on to say that they had just serviced all the A/Cs 2 weeks ago.
I checked in. For the next 6hrs, I made calls, maintenance came up, the assist. manager got involved, but the end result was a night in a 27C/80F/80% room.
After 3 days of travel, I was at my wits end, finally, one of the dest agents let it slip. The A/C was OUT IN THE WHOLE HOTEL.
The even BIGGER problem...Mr. Saquib KNEW this when he checked me in! He looked me directly in the eye. He told me about the maintenance just 2 weeks ago. He knew me from previous years. He knew I had just come from a sub-freezing climate and A/C was the most important thing. Yet, he DELIBERATELY, let me check in to a hotel with no A/C.
The next day, when I called him out on it, he wouldn't admit it. See my other review for Part 2."
"It was a great experience except the door lock would not work every time we went out. Their buffet breakfast and dinner was awesome!
It would have been great if they had any concierge service with tourism information with knowledge of local attraction's."
