The property was very good, as I have come to expect with Holiday Inn Express. However, this is the first time in many stays at a HI Express where the mattress was so soft, I could not sleep on it. Since I had a 3 night stay with a non-refundable reservation, I went to a discount store and purchased an inexpensive foam mattress and slept on the floor. All other respects of this hotel were good, but for me, I like a firm mattress with good support.

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried. However, it seems like a recent remodel has occurred. It smelled like fresh paint, but some things still were dated and needed improvement. The a/c was super loud and sounded like it was raining with 40 mph wind all night. The breakfast was decent. All of the staff seemed friendly.

The bathroom door lock was broken, and there were ants and cockroaches in the room. The staff was good, but the property itself is not.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The property itself is rundown and dingy - the carpet could use a refresh as well as the restrooms updated. The shower and tub were stained and had mildew growing on the tile. I believe this is a very old property, not what I expected from an IHG property. I’ve stayed at others that were much nicer and newer.

Parking was great, even for my big truck. Plenty of room. Room was super clean, a/c kept us nice & cool. Had real soap in the bathroom. None of those slimy little bars, there was Dove liquid soap for shower & hand washing.

Even though we only stayed for one night, our experience was great! The hotel is clean, quiet, we enjoyed our room and our kids did as well. Breakfast was good and the staff treated us very well from the receptionist up to the staff in charge of the breakfast and area. Totally recommend this hotel and will definitely use again when back in the area!!!
