"A great hotel for travel out of YYC. Service was excellent. The only issues were with the pool. The area was extremely loud (ventilation issues) and the water wasn't very clear. Disappointing when travelling with two kids"
"If you have a lot of luggage, good luck. The elevator is oddly placed where you have to go up or down a flight of steps to get to the elevator. It’s overpriced but clean."
Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre
10/10 Excellent
"I liked their 20% off from one entree eating in their restaurant. The food was great, and not expensive. The hotel location was great. Across the hotel parking lot was a small mall with T&T grocery store and a few Chinese restaurants. And across this shopping area was a light rail station, where we took the train to downtown. The only thing missing was a gym."
Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport
2/10 Terrible
"All over the hotel is not very clean specially the room. Sink is smells and gross.
And the lady was in the front desk wasn’t very helpful. We asked for a trolly for our luggage. No one ever gave us a trolly."
"The parking was fine, but unfortunately our overall stay was very disappointing.
The room and bathroom were not cleaned properly. There were stains in the bathroom, stains on the bedsheets, and both the pillows and bedsheets had an unpleasant smell. The room itself also smelled musty.
We booked the room for four people, but only received enough bathroom amenities for one person. The shampoo and toiletries provided were very limited and not enough for the number of guests staying in the room.
Housekeeping did not clean our room while we were out. When we asked staff to clean it, they gave us attitude and made it seem like we should change the sheets ourselves. We had to speak with the manager before someone was sent to help. Unfortunately, the staff member who came was rude, disrespectful, and had a very poor attitude.
Overall, the cleanliness, housekeeping, customer service, and room amenities did not meet our expectations. I would not recommend this hotel unless these issues improve."
