"Very easy location if you are travelling northwards on the A1. A very leafy part of Darlington. There is a park the other side of the road a bit further on but we didn't go to it. The building has character and history that we like but there are modern rooms if you prefer that style. We have been twice recently and will go again. On the 2 Saturdays we have been there there have been weddings but have not been disturbed by any noise and quite enjoy seeing some of the guests as we go through the hotel! Wifi and breakfast were good."

"For what must be an older hotel, the amenities are excellent, modern and well kept, swimming pool is massive with a jacuzzi hot tub, didnโt use the spa but looks amazing, bedroom was lovely, a nice size overlooking the garden area, nice and quiet, didnโt use golf course but โThe Pinโ is a great place to visit ( in hotel grounds) sports bar, bowling, driving range, shuttle board and lots more, friendly helpful staff, will definitely be back!"
