"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start.
This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. The actual room that was allocated to me, was situated overlooking a busy duelled road, with a...
"Location was great as it’s only a short walk to the seafront. Apartment is located by a crossroads therefore could be loud when busy as well as people walking past the windows but knew that when we booked it would be
Apartment was spacious so fine for us, a family of 5. Had issue with WiFi but they were helpful. We stayed in flat 4 which was ground floor so ideal carrying stuff to and from
My only criticism is no washing machine, leaving us with wet clothes from the beach and every time you...
"Fabulous building which has a lot of history attached to it.
Louise and Sean were excellent hosts and our apartment accommodation had everything we needed."
"I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed"
"Overall, a love experience. The property was decievingly spacious, clean and filled with great entrainment facilities. An added benefit of a washer/dryer that makes that going back home experience better. Car parking permit included also. A great way to celebrate a significant ceremony in a stunning part of the country. Would highly recommend and stay again when in the area. "

"Glamorous hotel, faded in places and could do with a little refurb in the bedroom corridors and around the pool, but we had a lovely stay, the facilities are great and our room was well-appointed. Great location, right next to the station and lovely view of Torquay. We will definitely return."

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, old tired but its nice. Had so much to do, my 10yr old wasnt board once. Allday and evening. The beds were a but lumpy. The pool was way to high in clorine it burnt my eye balls, and was even stronger in the jacuzzi, which on day two was extremely hot. The steam room didnt have the eucalyptus, which is a shame as really does make a difference. The out door pool was cold as ice!! I jumped in and couldnt get out fast enough, i then suffed with my chest cramping after for a short while. I really dont know how the kids handled it. The food had a little to be desired for, but was fine for a few days. We didnt want to venture much. BUT All in all, we will be going back, and probably for xmas, as its so close to home yet feels so far away, we even came home looking like wed been on holiday! We met mascot toby and made our own bears. We heald reptiles and bunny's. Tho we did make a dash for it when the snakes n tarantula came out. But it really was a great few days away. "
"This hotel was a great find in Torquay. 10min walk from the Harbour/ Beach although note to others it’s up a steep hill.
The spa was fantastic and even better within the price of room, you are given towels, bath robes and flip flops to use which was a lovely touch. Ladies - not only are there hair dryers but hair straighteners in the spa changing room!
We didn’t eat at the Hotel so can’t advise but the tea/coffee tray has an endless selection of herbs teas, coffee and hot chocolate.
Our room was on the ground floor by the roadside and you couldn’t hear anyone so lovely and quiet.
Will definitely return when we have a night free from the kids!"
