Very communal..everyone made us feel very welcome. Only negative was that there wasn't alot of dining options in Dawlish itself on an evening but this didnt matter as the trains to Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth were very regular even on a Sunday
The town is good, not the hotel/
Dawlish seems to be dying on it's feet - very limited dining if you want something nice - we ended up going to Torquay to find a choice of decent dining
Hated Dawlish Sands
