This motel was "you get what you pay for" for us. During any event in Daytona, hotel/motel prices inflate tremendously, this one however, was inexpensive & the only reason that we could go to the Country 500. Now, with that said, I must tell you that the bottom of my feet were jet black when I got dressed, I think that tile floor needed a sweeping & mopping! We were only in the room from 11 p.m. To 9:45 a.m. Management was very nice & offered to be accommodating, however, I did ask for an extra pillow & never got it.
The bathroom door would not close, but, this place served it's purpose. It was obvious that management had done a few things to make the tiny room look as if they had done some remodeling. I think the whole place needs a bath & organization. But I must say I ordered a smoking room & actually got it!
With a little elbow grease, paint, lawn mowing & cleaning agent, this little place could be a quaint property.
I do hope that they do clean the rooms & property, just because it's old doesn't mean it couldn't be a profitable motel. We will check back to see if changes have been made. We would stay here again under the same circumstances (short stay) as during events, you can't even stay at Days INN for less than $110.00. We were on a budget so that was out of the question! This place cost under $70.00. Remember, "you get what you pay for ".
