Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Shreveport-Airport, LA
2/10 Terrible
"They gave away our room and couldn’t accommodate our sleeping needs for our family of 5. The hotel was not in good shape, pool was in shambles, dirty walls and floors, smelled bad, and there was an odor of vomit in the elevator."
"When we arrived we checked in the clerk was on a personal phone call, it took 15 minutes she kept stopping to talk to the person on her phone. The whole lobby was just dirty and it smelled like mildew. We got our keys, went to our rooms they were non smoking room but they both smelled like weed and were half cleaned there was still food in our fridge, ruined food. The room we rented has two queen beds only one had a blanket and In our room one of the beds had a nasty stain on the mattress itself so dark it showed through the sheets. There were no towels in either room and it took the front desk clerk, still on her phone, 20 minutes to find towels. When we went to lay down the sheet were so scratchy you couldn't get comfortable. Just for future guest knowledge this hotel does not serve Breakfast or even coffee and they have no vending machines at all. The I 3 from the ice machine taste like river water. 0 out of 10. Don't waste your money. It is worth driving a little farther to the airport, than wasting your money here."
"Before check-in, I used the public men’s bathroom, which smelled like weed upon entering. Staff knocked on the door nearly immediately and accused me of smoking weed without verifying the validity of that accusation. Staff then proceeded to tell me that I would not be able to stay here or check in anymore after staff falsely accused me of smoking. They asked some of the other staff members if they had seen anyone else in the bathroom, and someone else was able to confirm that the stench of weed was present well before I went into the bathroom. Staff refused to fully apologize and offer any way to remedy for their false accusation. As a black man heed caution when staying here. Extremely disappointed."
"You can’t beat the price. This place is clean and the location is alright. It’s close enough to the casinos and my favorite part is that they allow dogs."
"All was good EXCEPT - we called the front desk twice to get extra toilet paper and were put on hold 10_ minutes before getting hung up on and then 20+ minutes before we gave up. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!"
