I had a very nice and convenient stay at the Best Western in Huron, SD. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby amenities. I’d definitely stay here again!!

A Couple Days in Huron

The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. It had a second access door to the parking lot which was really handy. The shower was a little weak and the blow dryer wasn't working, but they brought me a new on immediately.

I stay here occasionally. The slamming doors at the inside entries into the hallways slam. It is a rude awakening. These have been like this for several years. Time to repair them. The shower floor doesn't drain all the way. Other than that it is a nice facility.

For it being an older hotel it was very clean and staff was courteous. They are currently updating. Wish I would’ve known the sauna room was closed but I did see they offer an offsite workout facility

The gal at the front desk when we arrived was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. The hotel did say it had a exercise area and juccuzi.....there is none...the place where it was supposed to be was closed up and it looked like it was use for storage. Maybe that could be taken off the website since there isn't one available. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Clean, but Missing Perks

Our first room we were given had not been cleaned - beds unmade and towels on the floor. They quickly put us in a clean room which was much better. Breakfast was fine, better than expected, and juice and coffee were available 24/7. However, one of the reasons we had chosen the hotel was for the amenities, the pool, hot tub, and gym, all of which were behind a dysfunctional, nailed shut door.

Overall this property was okay! The room and the hotel smelled funky and we tried to use air freshener but it just kept coming back. The room was kind of run down with broke tile around the jet tub and mirror in the bathroom was falling apart. But it was clean other than that and quiet! Just wish it had a pool as well. Also spa was not available.
