"This was not at all what we would’ve expected from a Hampton property! We chose this because of the hot tub amenity. Unfortunately, the hot tub was disgusting. Not clean and smelled of mildew, definitely not treated properly with chemicals! The entire pool deck was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. There were ants, cigarette butts and leaves all over. The pool was definitely not maintained. Very dirty and a lot of leaves in it. The property is in severe need of some good maintenance in general. Our bathroom had either mildew or black mold splotches on the ceiling growing. The air conditioner was very loud and we were wondering if it was going to keep working for the night. The room smelled of mildew and it was somewhat clean, but just kind of surface cleaned. The wallpaper in the bathroom was worn to the point of the print wearing off and peeling from the walls in places. The staff was less than friendly. We had to catch an early flight so we didn’t stay for the breakfast, but I doubt I would’ve wanted to risk eating it. We were very disappointed in this property. If you’re staying in the Sanford area, I would recommend choosing the hotels on Ava Court instead. That’s where we usually go and we should’ve stuck with that!"

"The property was in a convenient location and had a kitchen option. Previous reviews on hotel.com gave it an eight. On the plus side the staff were very polite and accommodating. On the negative side the place was run down and had a lot of deferred maintenance. The rooms were worn and dated and the overall cleanliness was not acceptable. I was surprised at the condition of the property given the ratings I had seen"
