"It’s an old building in a historic town. You know what you’re getting. But for what it is it is really a fun experience. Lacking many modern amenities. Or at least , lagging behind in many amenities that your average traveler is accustomed to, otherwise you are right in the thick of the Deadwood Main Street action. Amazing town. Fun , family friendly. I’d stay again. For a night maybe. Place is a blast , Deadwood. If you like ghost stuff the damn place was haunted as hell. And I’m not a believer in a lot of that stuff. But something is there. A bit freaky. I don’t drink and have no mental illness. So I experienced what I experienced. Pretty cool"

"The location is perfect. They have a casino and several good choices of restaurants. The staff at the check in are top notch and valet is a great option. You have to try the cookies at the check in. The only thing I found strange was water pressure had some moments of very low to no water and when it came back on it was very hot. I would not let that deter me from staying again. You can walk to downtown and the town has many things to see."

Only thing that was a bit overboard was the number of emails, at least 5, that I received prior to our stay regarding rules and restrictions regarding parking, charges for early check-in, etc. The last one confirmed the number of people on my reservation was 2, and if they discovered another person was staying with us they would be asked to leave. Unnecessary."
