This was a fairly nice hotel. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. I had called in advance and asked that my elderly parents be put on a lowered level room with Street access due to their age and inability to walk up and downstairs. This hotel was clean, but there is limited parking spaces for the amount of rooms at this hotel. If you cannot find parking at the hotel, then you have to pay to park on the street. There is not a first floor at this hotel because part of the first floor is below street level , so you still have to walk up steps to get to the main level floor. There is a pizza parlor and a casino attached to this hotel. The pizza parlor closed very early on a weekend, which was kind of weird. So our party had to go downtown to find food which was inconvenient. Because there was a casino attached to the hotel, some of the guests were kind of shady. The pool in the hotel appeared to be nice. It was an indoor pool with a detached hot tub. We wanted to use the hot tub, but we’re unable to because it was full from the time we checked in until the time that the pool closed. We continued to check back periodically, but the same people were in the hot tub for that entire time. it was also a safety issue. No one ever mopped up the wet water on the floor around the pool, which was the only way to get between the hotel and the pizza parlor. This was also a safety hazard. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again.
