Pros: location, superior room size. Cons: Price vs Quality. A/C and heater way too noisy. Check in is late at 4:00pm (and not before, even if you call the day before and ask if possible to check in earlier), check out is at 11:30am (and they make sure to let you know at check in that you must leave the room by 11h30). I think, depending on which day you check in and who is checking you in you will probably have a different experience at thisbhotel. It would need more consistency throughout the property and service standards according to what the end goal of the hotel is (luxury, 4stars, or rather I would say a good 3stars). At the end, we expected a luxury hotel, but it's not.

It was a decent property for a one night stay. Very close to the beach and walkable to all areas of town. Across from the iconic Hotel Normandy so it was nice to visit but not pay the high prices. No parking on site however free street parking 3 blocks up.

Customer service is non existent. Expedia tried to help with the wrong booking by contacting the hotel. But the hotel was so rigid and refused to help. Would never try again this hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Deauville stay
Hotel is in good location walking for restaurant and around. Anyhow town is not that big. Carine at front desk was soo helpful and nice went out of her way to help. The problem is there is cover for comforter but then there is no top sheet. We were not sure how often they were changing the comforter cover after each guest or since was a cover they were never change it. So same cover could touch everyone’s skin. We were not very comfortable with it. Hotel is 3 star room was very small.

To reassure you,the cover and cushions, and the armchairs are disinfected after each customer departure with our vapodile, a 120 ° dry steam cleaner. For your information, in France the size of the room you had is the size of a 4 stars. We hope that you stay in our hôtel when you come back in Deauville. Kinds regards

I was very happy about the location; it was friendly; convenient for amenities of the town; good value; had a nice albeit small pool deck area where you can sit in the sun with a book, which I greatly appreciated.

The hotel and room were as described. It was a very hot day ( and no AC) which made the room hot and stuffy at night. As our room faced the road (and a bottle container-it felt like all the restaurants were throwing away bottles after closing)...sleeping was difficult but none of that is a fault aimed at the hotel. The central location was great for enjoying the town and the beach and the heated pool at the hotel was great. We enjoyed our stay.

I was reamed by the staff for bringing in some pizza I was told that it says clearly in the handbook that you can not bring in food they sell. Well it says it in small print on page 5. If that is so important , say it at check in. The manager on duty was rude. The air conditioner was horrible.

Close to beach and fun little pool; cramped
Small common spaces; helpful if not particularly warm staff; fun little pool; room bland and smallish; beds and linens nice. Three long blocks from beach, that was nice. But we would probably look for something with a little more character or warmth if we went again. Everything functional except in-room refrigerators, the staff said that the coolers in the room are for freshness, not to refrigerate things, they are unadjustable and kept at maybe 55 degrees or something, that made it less than optimal for our longish stay, where we wanted to be able to eat some meals in our room.

A nice quiet hotel in a great Location!
This hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. A short walk to the beach and the heart of the shopping/eating district of Deauville. Skip the cramped underground parking and take advantage of free street parking 2 blocks west..

Just off the main drag
We highly recommend Hotel Le Trophée in Deauville. We arrived just after 6 pm the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We asked for a kettle to boil hot water and they provided us with one. The room was a good size and was clean. The bathroom and WC are separate which makes it convenient in the morning when getting ready. The hotel has on-site parking and was helpful. The hotel is just off the main street and shops and restaurants are within walking distance as is the beach. Does it get any better, I think not.

Average hotel but in good location
Stayed one night for business trip. The hotel was very clean but lacked space in the room, there wasn't even a proper space for a suitcase. The room was too warm so had to sleep with the window open which meant being woken up by traffic noise / bin men early. Overall I can't say that I'd choose this hotel again for a stay in Deauville as it doesn't offer the experience to match the price. Either save your money and look at one of the chain hotels or spend big on one of the luxury hotels in the town.

Great place
Small quiet hotel, with large rooms with balconies. Located centrally, short walk to beautiful Deauville beach and to the village center. Hotel staff very professional, welcoming and accommodating. Excellent value.

Lovely place great location
We love Deauville and the Hotel Trophee has a great location. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had drinks out by the pool a nice touch on a sunny day. A great little hotel which can't be beaten for price in Deauville. You can find free on street parking from the top of the road. We have stayed at various hotels in Deauville/Trouville and I would choose to return to the Trophee first. We go for the racing and you can hear the horses being taken to the beach in the early morning.... It's really worth going to see!!

This hotel is poor value - the room was small and dark, the safe was brokén, the fan in the toilet did not work and the toilet door did not close : smell of urine in the room. We were not offered a change of room. We were givé only one room key so i sat in the dark when my part'er went out to collect something. The breakfast area is cramped and very little fresh fruit provided. Staff all very pleasant except for one man on reception.

The hotel is well situated, close to shops and restaurants and there's on-street parking in nearby streets. The staff are efficient and friendly and the room represents good value compared to others in the vicinity.

I enjoyed a short break here in August mainly to go horse racing. The hotel is in a very central location convenient for the restaurants, shops and casino.. The tourist information centre is nearby and the beach only a short walk away.If you like racehorses you will have the added bonus of them walking past your hotel room early morning after excersing on their way back to the stables.Deauville la touques racecourse is also only a ten minute walk way. The hotel staff spoke good English and were very helpful.
