Not a 4* hotel!!

First the positives - the staff were very nice and friendly, the room was clean, the temperature was good and the bed was comfortable. But this is not even close to a 4* hotel. We’ve been staying in 4* across Normandy on this holiday and this was much closer to a youth hostel with pretentions There are no amenities in the room. No tea, coffee, kettle or coffeemaker. No cups or glasses (just disposable paper cups). No toiletries (just an all purpose bottle of shampoo/hand soap/body wash/industrial degreaser riveted to the wall). The towels are tissue thin and solid as a rock. No wardrobe or cupboard - just hooks. The toilet roll falls apart faster than Donald Trump at a press conference. It even feels like a youth hostel - there is a communal area downstairs that teenagers seem to wander off the street into to play the piano or just to hang out (and you could hear the piano playing from our room even with doors and windows shut) - if you want a fridge your only option is a communal unsecured one in the middle of this area. There is a communal ‘kitchen’ but it has nothing but a vending machine and a microwave. For nearly €200 a night I expect much more. This is an (expensive!) budget hotel that they’ve made look very cool and sleek to hide the fact, but in no world is this a 4* hotel.

This is one of the most amazing places I have stayed in. At last the future of hotels has been created! Let's first mention the amazing room we had. Touch paneps to control the lighting, music and even the mood of the room. Massive TV. massive bed. Amazing shower. Outside the room the moody hallways are already creating this fun but relaxing mood with dark walls. The common areas boast plenty of seating for big groups, fire places, piano, drum set, board games, meeting areas with screens, even privacy boxes for phone calls. The location is fantastic as well, with short walking distance to about everything. And lastly the staff are super nice, friendly and helpful, and not just coz they have to be, but they seem like they really want to be there. Amazing place and I will look out for more of their branches in the future.

disorganised hotel

positives : rooms are big , rooms clean, big bed and everything is new. negatives: - staff were not well trained. Couldnt order a drink at the bar properly. -one day the room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced e.t.c So came downstairs to get more towels e.t.c. - they have instruments downstairs you can play on with an amp. However people can play these at any hour and unfortunately our room is not sound proofed on the first floor. So we heard music coming from the ground floor constantly. The hotel staff had told me on the first day that they would only use the headphones past 10pm . So then the music had stopped for 1 night but continued again with the amplfier the next night. Sort of gave up with going to the hotel staff.

Nous étions ds une suite junior avec nos 2 petits enfants.. L'hôtel est propre et agréable, un peu trop moderne peut-être. Je mesure 1,90 m. Pour prendre une douche 🚿 j'étais obligé de me plier. Impossible de rester debout droit.. Pour le dervir du lavabo les robinets sont très mal disposés. Impossible de se laver les dents sans devoir se plier encore une fois. Et encore c'est difficile. Au final, impossible de regarder tranquillement la télé, le lit des petits étant juste en face d'une très belle et très grande télévision, donc dodo à 21h.télé
