Munising Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, staff was knowledgeable, parking was easy. You can tell that it’s been remodeled more recently. The location is great if you like walking. The town is very walkable. The bed was so comfortable! Great amount of pillows too. The mini fridge worked well and didn’t make much noise. I had a microwave and keurig in the room but didn’t use either. I’ve heard people say it was a small space. I must have had a big room because it was a good size to me (king bed, first level). I only have two notes, both about the door. First, the door has a little window at the top. Sure, it’s beveled and has etching on some of it, but someone still could have peeped in. Second, there is a lock on the door knob, but it doesn’t have a deadbolt or any other mechanism to prevent the door from being broken into. Not saying I had that problem while I was there. The other travelers seemed nice and respectful. I’m a single female traveler so safety is really important to me. All of that said, those two things did very little to bring down my opinion of this place. It’s not perfect but it’s better than good."
