"The location was great. 125 steps to the private beach that was great to wade/swim. The complimentary breakfast was nice, certainly not gourmet...but plentiful and Filipino, with Western options. The staff could not have been nicer. Always friendly and caring. The owners dinner was delightful and delicious. The resort is convenient to General Luna with lots of nightlife and interesting options. Too far to walk, but a tricycle is only a few minutes call away and there was never a wail. The facility is certainly not luxury, but spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and the grounds are very, very pleasant. We had a great time here...it's peaceful, happy and comfortable... "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mad Monkey Hostel Siargao and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff who were always willing to help. The hostel itself is located in a prime spot, just a short walk away from the famous Cloud 9 surf break and other popular spots on the island. The common areas are spacious and well-designed, with plenty of spaces for guests to relax and socialize in. The dorm rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and individual lockers for each guest. I also appreciated the fact that there were curtains on each bed for added privacy. One of the highlights of my stay at Mad Monkey was the daily activities organized by the hostel. From surfing lessons to island hopping tours, there was always something fun and exciting to do. The staff were also very knowledgeable about the island and its attractions, and were happy to provide recommendations and tips. The on-site bar and restaurant were also a great addition, serving up delicious food and drinks at affordable prices. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. But what really sets Mad Monkey apart from other hostels is the amazing atmosphere.
