Homely stay at a reasonable price point

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and service. Very pleasant staff and understanding management. Happy to recommend and will definitely be staying here again in case of future visits. Nice surroundings, albeit distant from the city center. Access to services is good, as is distance to the airport.

En ren seng til lav pris, intet annet.

Vi benyttet hotellet natten før tidlig hjemreisen fra Delhi Int. airport, som ligger i en avstand av ca. 15 min med bil (RS500). Hotellet ligger i et boligkvarter, nær et lite lokalt handlesenter (uten interesse for turister), metro stasjon, og luksushotellet WelcomDwarka. Kort fortalt, det absolutt intet av interesse i området, og få spisesteder. Nærliggende Nabohotellet WelcomDwarka tilbyr bar og restauranter, men er svært overpriset. OYO Rooms Dwarka Sector 19 tilbyr allikevel noe verdi for pengene om du bar vil ha en seng å sove i for et par timer. Generelt er stedet simpelt men rent, og wifi på rommet er tilfredsstillende. Ellers er det utrolig lytt, du høre alt som forgår på naborommet. Som det ikke var nok, stedet ligger rett for enden av landing banen, og fly føles ikke mange meter over hodet ditt.Dessuten var en flok hunde som bjeffet i flere timer midt om natten. Det aircondition, men ingen varme på rommet. Svært kaldt på rommet om vinteren. Det var ikke varmt vann i dusj på kvelden, men heldigvis var det det på morgenkvisten. Hotellets resepsjonist virket uopplagt, men fulgt opp ting vi bad om, bla. å reservere taxi til tidlig neste morgen. Om jeg ville valgt det igjen vet jeg ikke. Men pga. prisen var svært lav og det var rent, tror jeg kanskje jeg ville overveie det om jeg en annen gang blott skal ha et oppholdssted for 12 timer.

Ovo are quite common in india. Many similar hotels around. Not really western style

Rooms were fine, neighborhood was noisy, sketchy

With a 4/5 hotels.com review average, we expected a lot more of this hotel. The rooms were small but comfortable. The hotel is located in a very noisy area. Not just airplanes, which we expected, but packs of dogs all night long. And when the dogs weren't barking, the peacocks were making a racket. It made for a very restless night. There is no restaurant on site. You have to walk to a sketchy mall for food. We did pay a reasonable amount for a ride to the airport the next morning, which was about the only plus.

but staff was unprofessional and there was no hot water on cold night we spent there and staff couldn't correct the situation.
