"Its very close to the coastline, which we made very good use of every day. Staff very helpful especially Shannon, was very informative/helpful and with us using the pool. We used the pool every day. Food was delicious. Our room was very well appointed.
The only negative we think is more space needed for the pool table somehow and a mini fridge in every room.
Would definitely recommend for couples and families. We will definitely be going back. "

"My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). "St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing pleasant place to be.
Definitely recommended and I would definitely stay there again, hopefully for longer."
