"One of the most welcoming places we’ve stayed. Every member of staff we met was genuinely friendly and made sure our stay was great. Spotlessly clean, great breakfast and a lovely atmosphere."

"Our room was excellent. Spacious, large ensuite. Breakfast was great, really nice. The car parking can't be reserved, it's a working pub. We did okay though on an August weekend. We really liked the whole village, explore it."

"If you need a couple of nights away in the Peak District, The Blind Bull is a great getaway. Most of the rooms are in a building a mere 25 paces from the door of the bar! For dog owners choose one of the ‘pig’ rooms as there is a little gravel garden. The owners have thoughtfully provided a little bin outside for any bags. We ate both nights at the pub and you can see why the place is highly rated. It is so much more than ‘pub’ food. A lovely crafted menu and a great wine list. Breakfast is excellent with quality over quantity. Top tip is to make a booking for a table as the place gets really busy. All the staff we came across were polite friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Brooke, Jane Bond and David the manager."

"Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat."
