"The location is perfect, by the lake and in the middle of the lovely Desenzano town. The hotel blends beautifully the charming traditional outside architecture and the modern interior, with very good air conditioning, very thoughtfully positioned not directly over the bed. The breakfast was a cut above, with local cheeses and meats, and the most delicious freshly baked breads and pastries. The hotel staff made us feel like personal guests, not impersonal robots, as it often is the case, even before our arrival, with thoughtful advice on parking and when the street is closed. We cannot wait to return"
