"This property was actually good, we need to compare this with Sri Lankan stands, hot water worked very well, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and planes flying by are perfectly heard also wifi speed poor but staff is very nice and helpful and the complimentary airport shuttle a very nice detail by the crew. "Did not have central AIrconditioning. Hot in March - can’t imagine how hot it would be in middle of summer. Liked efficient and polite staff members serving us late in the evening. "

"This is in a beautiful location! High up in the hills. The hotel is lovely. We arrived and waited for an hour or so. It seemsd abandoned and the telephone number was out of order. So we decided to leave and walk down the hill to find another hotel. So lucky for us we asked a man if he had a tuktuk and it turned out he worked at the hotel sometimes so took us back. Indika was incredile. He looked after us from start to finish. Made sure our rooms were kovely and clean. Brought us refreshments. Drove us to a restaurant in the evening for dinner. Made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Indika made our stay a 10 out of 10 but I have to mark down for there being nobody there when we arrived. "

"The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. The restaurant choices are limited and overall the Hotel and the area does not cater for europeans"

"Poor room condition. Housekeeping not attentive, missing towels, unclean bedsheets on arrival. Some staff wanting something from you. Breakfast not hot. This is a stopover hotel for one night, not if you want a holiday."
