"Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte bei Prashan – ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise, das wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden. Prashan ist ein außergewöhnlich herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich mit voller Hingabe um seine Gäste kümmert. "A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk...

Top Balangoda Hotel Reviews

Wishing Tree Boutique Resort Haputale

Ella Flower Garden Resort

We were greeted with a cup of tea on arrival . The staff ate all so helpful. Food was excellent and a great choice too ."

Hide Ella Hotel & Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, well-organized, and featured a sleek, modern design. The absolute highlight was the views—simply amazing from everywhere we went, including the room, restaurant, bar, and pool. The buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. A special shoutout to the staff who provided truly outstanding service. The location is ideal: perched on the hill so it’s easy for cars to access, yet still well within short walking distance of the town center, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended!"

The Cubes Ella

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel with great staff and a beautiful location. The breakfast was excellent - possibly the best chicken curry I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The only downside is that is quite far from the centre of Ella - and getting a Tuk-Tuk through PickMe was almost impossible - meaning I had to pay at least twice as much to flag one down."

98 Acres Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t have time to try. Overall fully recommend."
